Pygramming Club

A computer science club with dedicated teachers and hands-on projects
Momentum Scholars' first project began at Westwood High School with the computer science club and a mission to spread code. With the help of computer science teachers, volunteers from the South Asian community, and talented high school students, we were able to teach over one hundred students, Python and Java. Since the club's inception, we have grown substantially and now teach Python, C++, Java, and HTML.

Location & Dates
We meet every Tuesday in room E2303 at Westwood High School (12400 Mellow Meadow Dr, Austin, TX 78750) from 4:10 PM to 5:30 PM. As hands-on projects come to a close in the Fall and Spring, we will increase the frequency of meetings.
Hands-on Projects
Every year, we launch one to two hands-on dedicated hardware/software projects to give students an authentic real world application of computer science and electrical engineering. This Fall, we will design small remote control cars that race in classrooms by automatically detecting and evading obstacles.
