The Momentum Scholars UT branch is committed to providing free education and tutoring services to understaffed middle schools in downtown Austin and to students on the college campus. In Spring 2016, the UT College of Liberal Arts provided a small grant to Momentum Scholars to create a university branch. Since then, the UT branch has embarked on numerous projects, including partnering with the Austin Bat Cave Project to teach skills in the humanities to students at schools around Austin.
